BACKGROUND
Finca Gallinal begins its history in 2006 when the first apple trees were planted then expanded in July 2015 when the Exner Argüero family acquired it with the aim of making it the benchmark in cider apple production in Asturias. Finca Gallinal refers to its location, Gallinal, belonging to the municipality of Gijón in Asturias.

LOCATION AND SURFACES
Finca Gallinal is the sum of several plots distributed in 4 areas close to each other and located in the municipalities of Gijón and Llanera. At present the orchard has an area of 31 hectares. of which 23 Has (74%) contain the nearly 13,000 apple trees already planted. 6,500 of them are in production having been planted between 2008 and 2010. The rest have been planted between 2016 and 2018.
Finca Gallinal is divided into 18 sectors as a result of the complex orography of the typical Asturian landscape and the separation between them by roads and boundaries.
