DISCOVER OUR ORCHARD
Finca Gallinal is a natural landscape of 31 hectares (76 acres) located in the heart of Asturias, between the cities of Gijón and Oviedo, where more than 13.000 apple trees of 8 cider apple varieties certified by the Protected Designation of Origin Sidra de Asturias have been planted since 2006 respecting the natural orography of the land formed by valleys, rivers and hills.
QUALITY FOCUS
At Finca Gallinal we work hard to produce the highest quality cider apple. Moreover, our cider-making clients receive information on the characteristics and origin of the apple, which allows them better planning and, consequently, greater control over the elaboration of better ciders.
OUR VARIETIES
We produce 8 cider apple varieties, all under the Protected Designation of Origin Sidra de Asturias.
- Bitter: Madiedo and Amariega.
- Sweet: Verdialona.
- Sharp-sweet: De la Riega
- Sharp: Xuanina, Raxao, Regona y Durona de Tresali.
